Another Nigerian Arrested In Sinoe

Agents of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), have arrested a Nigerian with L$49,427,075 worth of narcotics, this time, in Sinoe County.

The latest development followed the recent arrest of another Nigerian national with a huge quantity of illegal substances in Nimba County.

According to the LDEA, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at approximately 7: a.m., LDEA officers, Sinoe County Detachment, executed a Search Warrant issued by the county Magisterial Court.

During the operation, a 49-year-old Nigerian national identified as Nwokoye Tochuku Francis, was arrested with illegal drugs.

The arrested drugs include Kush, marijuana and heroin.

The Kush, LDEA says weighed as 997.7 grams; value L$3,691,490/ US$ 19,954; heroin: 5,287.3 grams

L$44,016,772, or US$239,928.50;

marijuana: 2.6 kilograms, value at

L$48,100/US$260.

Total estimated street value of L$49,427,075/US$260,142.5.

The suspect meanwhile, LDEA confirmed, is currently under investigation and, upon completion of the process, will be forwarded to court for prosecution in accordance with the New Drug Law.
