The Ambassador-at-Large for Youth and Sports Development, Alioune Kebe, has embarked on community outreach initiatives in Montserrado County.

As a means of further empowering local communities through sports, Amb. Kebe donated quality sporting materials to residents of Jamaica Road.

The donated items include footballs and jerseys.

Kebe said, his gesture is to support local talents, as well as ensure a better future for them.

He spent a day with the local residents, expressed his gratitude for the performance of local talents in the community.

Kebe told the gathering that his initiative intends to promote skills and talents of the country’s future leaders.

Amb. Kebe promised to continue his community outreach activities in other hard-to-reach communities that are struggling to get necessary sporting materials.

The sporting sector of the country has and continue to experience challenges, especially with support and investment.

In the wake of these challenges, there are raw talents in and around the country that are focused and determined to make a change in the sector, but needs the necessary financial push.

With the involvement and investment by Amb. Kebe to change the dynamics, hope is alive for the sector.
