Agents of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) have made another drug bust in River Gee County.
The agents arrested three suspected drug peddlers in Gbeapo Kanweaken City.
The suspects are identified as Romeo Weah (36), Abraham Wilson (23), and Timothy Saydee (20).
The trio were caught on River Gee central town while selling the “illicit substances.”
Meanwhile, LDEA recovered 216 wraps of high-grade marijuana, and four strips of tramadol pills, valued over L$65,000.
River Gee County Commander Bill M. Cooper, Jr. reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to combating drug-related activities.
Cooper called for public support in the fight against narcotics and other illicit drugs.
“This collective effort is crucial in tackling drug abuse, as many involved operate within local communities.”
Residents have praised the Agency’s efforts, welcoming the arrests of the trio as a step to address the illicit drug challenges.
