Report from Harper, Maryland says authorities at the J. J. Dossen Hospital in the county have identified two victims of a recent fire disaster with devastating results.
Our correspondent quoting a family source, reported that the victims, Ma- Nancy Martin, 68, and her husband, Urey Flomo, 48, were pronounced dead between Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday June 4, 2025, following the ‘unfortunate blaze.’
It can be recalled that the fire reportedly spread late Wednesday night, May 28, 2025, engulfing the two victims’ home. Frantic rescue efforts by nearby Community dwellers did not succeed as the victims suffered from the burns to death.
Local officials and first responders were quick to arrive at the scene, but unfortunately, the couple’s injuries proved too severe despite receiving immediate medical attention.
The cause of fire is still being investigated.
The loss of the couple has left a profound impact on those who knew them, highlighting the risks associated with residential fires and the importance of fire safety awareness.
Meanwhile, the decease couple were turned over to the family for burial.
