The Anti-Robbery Unit of the Liberia National Police (LNP), has arrested, investigated, and formally charged two suspects, who faked themselves as soldiers of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).
The suspects have been identified as Shadrach Dingwall and Philip W. D.B. Randy.
They were apprehended on February 15, 2026, at the Bandersville Junction.
They were dressed in full military camouflage uniforms, and falsely presented themselves as members of the AFL.
According to police reports, the suspects pepper-sprayed a victim identified as Frank Roberts, and made off with his Bajaj motorbike.
Investigations further revealed that the suspects had on previous occasions terrorized residents in various communities while impersonating as military personnel.
The accused have been charged with robbery, theft of property, impersonating as an official, and criminal conspiracy.
They have been forwarded to court for prosecution in accordance with law.
