Bomi County Senator Edwin Melvin Snowe, has warned that decision the members of the 55th Legislature recently took and expelled Representative Yekeh Kolubah could have serious political consequences ahead of the 2029 elections.

Prior to his expulsion, Kolubah represented residents of Montserrado Electoral District #10.

Snowe suggested that the move may hurt the re-election chances of some lawmakers, as voters could react strongly to the decision.

“This will cost them in 2029,” he told reporters in an interview.

Snowe also raised concerns about the personal impact of the expulsion, adding: “They have taken away another the man’s daily bread.”

The decision has generated mixed reactions across the political landscape, with some supporting the House’s action, while others believe it may create tension among voters. Observers say, the full impact of the situation will likely unfold over time.
