Mother Dies After Delivering Triplets

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, a tragic incident occurred at the Saclepea Comprehensive Health Center in Nimba County.

The woman, according to report, died shortly after giving birth to triplets on.

Medical staff said the mother (not named), successfully delivered the three babies, but unfortunately, she passed away just hours later. The exact cause of her death is still unclear, and health authorities have launched an internal review to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A nurse at the facility, who spoke on condition of anonymity, shared her grief: “This is an unfortunate moment for the family, and for us as a health facility. She was a strong woman, and we were all hopeful after the successful delivery, she died of unknown cause to us. We can only pray for peaceful rest of her soul.”

The names of the deceased mother and her newborns have not been disclosed up to press time (10:30) last night.

The reason: the family has requested privacy during this challenging time.
